Membership List

Show Information

New officers have been elected and our annual membership drive has begun. If you have not yet joined and would like to, we have updated the membership application on our web-site, just download and mail to address shown. Our officers for 2019 were elected on December 3, 2018, during our general membership meeting. If you have any questions, concerns, or ideas, for our club, please feel free to contact myself or other Officers listed. We are always looking for new and innovative ideas for the Arkansas Paint Horse Club.

During our meeting we discussed and approved several new and exciting events to sponsor and participate in during the 2019 year. Dates, times and events will be announced later. Be sure and check back with us for those coming events.

Once again, we will be partnering with Westark Horse Show Association at Foothills Arena, sponsoring a ďFree Youth DayĒ and trail ride and lunch. Details and Dates will follow on that show and Trail Ride as soon as they are finalized.

This year we have approved funds to support and create a Youth Judging Team to participate at the American Paint Horse Youth World Show. Cody and Barbara Jenkins along with Casey Orr will be putting together and coaching the team. We are excited to sponsor these kids. Cody and Barbara have also agreed to be our Youth Advisors for the Arkansas Paint Horse Club and will be working closely with the youth, to hopefully add an AjPHA Youth Club from our state.

We have members attending the 2019 American Paint Horse Association Annual Convention, in Fort Worth, Texas, March 1st thru March 3rd. Several of our members Chair or Co-Chair Committees and are Voting Directors. There are 22 rule change proposals being presented at the annual convention and will be voted on during the annual meeting. The proposals have been posted on the American Paint Horse Association web-site for you to review. If you have any questions or concerns about the proposals please contact one of your State Directors.

I want to thank the membership of our club for their confidence in me to serve as your President. Iím excited to see our membership grow again this year and having fun promoting the American Paint Horse.

Your President,

Sue Woodson
